Danger of turning our back on God
In this age of moral relativity and the constant attack on Christianity I am reminded of the importance of this verse from the Holy Bible:
Psalm 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Now I understand that at the time the reference was to Israel, but it is true that any nation that turns its back on God will lose the Lord's blessing, and I fear that the United States is dangerously heading down such a path.
